Dun Ringles Guitarist Cleared in 'Bus Rage' Court case

Jason (for Bucks Sake) Laing was today spectacularly cleared of reckless affray in what has become known as the 'Bus-rage' incident. Laing, whilst travelling on the 10.59pm bus to Bernera last Xmas, was accused of throwing a tub of crowdie over the conductress and mistaking a talisker for a CD player, whilst under the influence of strong drink. Today a chudge (Justice of the Pieces Lord Lt Mr S***y M******n) declared Mr Laing innocent of all charges on the condition that he gets ' a few days on the river, nudge nudge wink wink.........
Mr Laing celebrated his freedom by vomiting over the driver of the Bernera bus, saying 'This will mean I can now finish the new DR's album as I wouldn't have been able to if I got nicked'

In a case paralleling Peter Buck's far more closely than thon Dun Ringles one, Guireans guitarist Alasdair "God" Mackay was cleared of an alleged case of "Tractor Rage", said to have taken place on a Fordson Dexta 737 returning from Barvas on Satur-day.

A member of the cabin staff, identified only as "Calum", alleged that Mackay had complained throughout the flight about having to sit in the economy section of the trailer with a group boisterous rams on an 18-30 package to Guershader.

As the flight began its descent into Laxdale, "Calum" told the court, an enraged Mackay leapt into the cab and began to struggle with the Pilot. As the tractor plunged into a steep dive, "Calum" attempted to seize the controls and bring the Tractor in for a controlled landing, but unfortunately was unable to do so for reasons associated with his career choice, moustache and unnatural predilection for the recordings of Philomena Begley.

In the ensuing crash landing, 3 sheep and half a cow were killed, and passing Sandwick Worthy C*lan B*w was almost run over.

As Mackay left the court, accompanied by Guireans singer Gordon "Michael Stipe" Macleod, he commented "Just as well Judge S**dy M*th*s*n was still hungry after the Jason Dun Ringle trial, or thon box of out-of-date pies from Alex France's might not have swung it".

Calum is understood to be in rehearsals for the new series of Pop Idol.
