if you know of any other Cyclefoot songs not listed here please let us know, if we cover all the history in 1 or 2 messages then nobody will be tempted to do a web site an the world will be spared that which is, was and forever will be CYCLEFOOT - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHHHHHHH !

Mein Gott, so many songs yet so little talent!! I'd forgotten how many creative efforts were in the Cyclefoot canon. Bet CJ is really embarresed now. 'Careful with that .....' had a CJ input I think, if nothing else letting  Rev know it was a Floyd song.
What was 'No Sleep To Seilibost'? Don't remember that one far less having a writting credit!!
And what about all the great Cyclefoot cover versions, specifically from the 'Ossian at The Controls' session using the old scout hall piano (out of tune, only every second key worked-perfect!) I remember us doing a half hour version of Freebird and an equally long Child In Time. Sadly my copy of 'Ossian...' is no more. There's not one lurking under your stairs Mr H?

dear sarah greene

No Sleep Till Seilibost bore a striking resemblance to a bunch of monkeys playing Freebird, complete with long, boring geetar solo at the end.
It was later covered by another bunch of monkeys called the Beastie Boys but rather than singing about the dangerous 'hood that is Seilibost they sang about the tranquil beaches of Brooklyn, lovely boys that they are.

another dimenshun, another dimenshun

Was thon Beastie Boy monkeys the notorious posse from Marybank - notorious for getting high on cac and stealing corrugated iron - who sang "Fight For the Right To Ceardy"?

That would be the same bleigeards that sparked off thon craze for prising the "Fordson Dexta" logo off parked tractors in the late 80s. The singer - Fleaboy "Good Food" Dr**m**d  -  appeared on "Brag" wearing one round his neck on a length of extra heavy duty gold slabhraidh nicked from the kitchen of S**dy M***son's weekend black house, spawning a host of  imitators across the globe from Tawse's Quarry to Bridge Cottages.
