Comin soon. The new concept e.p. from Sheep Purple. A blend of the finest AGOFR musicians available that night distilled together to bring you a concept all about Sunday flying done in a Deep Purple/AGOFR styleee.Featuring Deadollac, Wattie and Jason displaying all their talents. You'd swear that it was Jon Lord in the room and not Wattie!!!! And was that really Deadollac on the bass and not Roger Glover. Surely not!! And what was Ritchie Blackmore doing in Knock??

Can you help the band come up with a Deep Purple related name for this E.P.? 'Sheep Purple In Cac?'  'Sundaypaperbringer?'

Give us your ideas and win a free copy of the ep!!!!!!

"Sheep Purple In Knock"?

...except that doesn't mention Sundays, planes, the airport or the curam.

"Made in Branahuie"? ... that's chust rubbish.

The Book of Taliban(esque Continuity Free Church demonstrators)?

Flight of the Fat (cove from the Whaler's rest with the pile of Sunday Sports)?

My vote's for Wattie's "Sundaypaperbringer". or maybe a slightly amended Jason's "Hades for Sheep Purple". Or maybe "Hades for Sheep Purple in Knock". I don't know. Somebody decide or it'll end up taking as long as AMIG (SB) to get released.

Well I don't know about an EP title, but if yous were to squeeze in another few tracks, how about a song about boarding the plane - 'Into the Flyer', then a song about the delay the passengers have to endure due to ministers lying on the runway etc - 'This Time Aground', then a song about the turnout at the massive sabbatarian protest - 'No one came'. ?? Worth a free copy of the EP surely?

Or how about 'Rev Mac (Leod)'s Head Is red with anger at all them heathens'

Perhaps not. I like 'Hades For Sheep Purple In Knock' but why dont we say that the three track ep is a taster of an elaborate box set of 30 plus CD's all based round the whole ouvre of Deep Purple, but never actually release the box set thus making the ep a collectors item and the source of much pub debate in decades to come eg 'of course I remember my mates flat mate had a bootleg copy of 'Concerto For Curam and Orchestra In The Royal'' or was it 'Who Do These Coves Think They Are (landing here on the sabbath) and ' yon cove's brother once heard that the masters were hidden in the loft of CJ's old mans house on Matheson Rd' etc etc etc.

Anyway, I'm busy sticking lots of Soundforge effects on the three tracks at the moment. Good phun.

Hey Jason, where's the cover?????????????????

How about "Hallelujah (fifty-odd people turned up to say nothing about the plane landing so we've clearly got our message across)"? Or "You Keep On Moving Because We're Still Stuck In The 19th Century And Someone's Got To Be Responsible For Progress"?

Or even "When A Blind Man Cries It's Cos He Can't Read The Lovely Sunday Papers As Provided By That Cove From The Whaler's Rest. Unless They're In Braille"?
