Just to let everyone know that Isles Fm have played several pieces of music by the Dun Ringles over the last few days, and have even broadcast 'Beyond The Cattle Grid' during the daytime on the AJ Kennedy show!!!!!! Hopefully this wont lead to an all out war between Townies and Maws, but so what if it does as us Townies will win anyway.

And thats not all. Giraffic Park is now available for purchase from Soundtracks, Francis St, Stornoway at a very reasonable price. Rush along to Sy's top record shop and buy a copy now but don't cause any giraffic carnage whilst your doing so.

And thats not all, John Fonn has said he's play a track on his show on the Beeb.

Oh, and the lyric books are ready now so I'll send them out soon or if you prefer I can send an electronic copy by e mail for you'se to print out yerselves.

Wattie

So how much are Soundtracks charging for a copy?

And do the people who buy it in the shop get a lyric book?

And if they do, what's my percentage for writing the foreword? I didn't want to ask, but our Coinneach said I had to...

Soundtracks are charging the very reasonable price of £5.99 of which a percentage is kept for 'sales administration and misc expenses etc'. And a free lyric book is included in the price, so I reckon Deads royalties should be based on a complicated formula which takes account of number of words multiplied by the number of sales (currently and unsurprisingly 'none') and factored by a ratio of the proximity to the front page of the booklet minus the fees charged by CJ (@400%) which should mean a tidy sum should eventually be arriving in Morningside once we reach the slaes target of 80,000,000,000,000 (as a breakeven point).
