Went to see "Brother" Wayne Kramer, guitar player from seminal and notorious 60s proto punks the MC5 last night.

Strangely, the ageing former White Panther (slogan 'Dope, Rock n Roll and ****ing in the Streets')  and alleged instigator of the 1968 Democratic Party convention riots had chosen a support band called D. Grassy (or something).

Is this a veiled tribute to the former Dun Ringles manager, some sort of sideways nod from the legendary Detroit Rock establishment to the AGOFR thing?
