In a surprise and bizarre Xmas accident, the Dun
Ringles found themselves in the Top Ten yesterday.
Top Isles FM DJ and Honcho Records mogul Innes
shocked polite society by including the Dun Ringles
'Giraffic Park' in his Top 10 records of 2003. Innes
played 'Dead, Roddy and Roddy' (which is probably as
close as the Guireans will ever get to being played
on the radio). The Dun Ringles were said to be well
chuffed and planned extensive drinking in the Legion
on Saturday night to celebrate.
Rumours are also circulating that the AGOFR
community is once again reuniting to record a moving
tribute to those rock starts who have passed away in
2003. Those deadsters up for the 'treatment' include
Johnny Cash (Dun Ringle Of Fire); Robert Palmer
(Evicted To Leodhas) and Barry Manilow (Co-op A
sgadana) (yes we know it was Barry White who died,
but it should have been Manilow!!!)
