Dudes
It's out this week!!! Yes, The Four Chessmen, the
new Cd from Dun Ringill (or the Dun Ringles
depending on which band member you speak to) is at
last ready. And every copy comes with a lovely lyric
booklet to let you know just what the hell the band
are on about!
Songs about Vikings, lorry drivers, old Stornoway,
Jori's hair, Chess pieces, Rooks (but not chess
ones), Stornoway schisms, and the northern lights,
The Four Chessmen has something for everyone (except
those with musical taste) so go get one now.

I sincerely hope that the misnomer 'Joriffic Perk'
was by no means a veiled referrence to or
insinuation in any way, shape or form that there is
the exsistence of payola within the
burgeoning Western Isles musical Underground. And
further more, that there is any connection to be
made between me(or any of my activities) and this
highly illegal practice! This blatant character
smear would undoubtedly lead me to seek legal advice
from SCCAT(my Southside of Chicago Corrective Action
Team).................. If ya know what I mean
HAVE A NICE DAY

Hey Jori
Payola? In the Western Isles? Never!! There's plenty
of Cremola in the school canteen though.
PS, psst Jori, the usual two bags of premium
peats and creel of herring are under
the second peatstack on the left on the road to
Grimersta. Nuff said!!

Huidh, DRs - I put a plug for youse on the Guireans
site. And then realised it was the Sabbath. My soul
is therefore in mortal peril because of you
bleigeards, so you'd better get along to the next
coinneamh at the North St Mission House and ask the
Big Cove very nicely not to send me down.
This is what's called pray-ola.

No, your okay. Remember, it's not British Summer
Time yet as the clocks dont go forward til the end
of the month, so it's probably still only Saturday
today.
And doesn't Calum Kennedy have a song called the
Kia-ora?
