And lo, it came to pass, that in the days of spring, a decree went out from on high saying unto all those who loveth rock, that the three wise men of Rush wouldst be performing mighty works in the town of Glasgow come the ides of September.

And all those who heard wondered and were filled with amazement and it was so.

And lo, didst Grassy, Jason and Wattie sayeth unto each other, ‘Let us go forth and see these wise men, for it is so decreed.’ And lo Robin could not go cos he worketh full hard and was sad.

And yea, it came to pass that Grassy did take many shekels and didst purchase three fine tickets from a passing merchant. And Wattie and Jason didst pay him across many shekels and Grassy was full well glad. And Robin was full well sad cos he could noteth go.

And the days they did pass and the time of the concert didst come. And Jason and Wattie didst say unto each other, let us take up thine beds and go and crash with Grassy. And yea, they didst travel full well to Glasgow. And it was good.

And yea, didst Grassy travel even unto Edinburgh Airport, where they didst meet and it was good. And lo they didst depart full well with a glad heart towards Glasgow in Grassy’s Lexus. And it was good. And the CD player in the Lexus didst play wonderous fine music and it was good to there ears. And verlty didst they bang their heads to Deep Purple, Rush, Zep and all manner of wonderous things. And it was good.

And lo, didst the three unwise men come unto Glasgow and they didst pick up Carol Anne and Kieran from the house of learning, and lo didst Carol Anne dropeth them by a wayside inn, and they didst enter in and it was good.

‘Let us drink forth the strong drink’ sayeth the three of them and so it was so. And the innkeeper didst charge up their gourds with drink and they drinketh full well. And lo, they didst speak many things of the wonderous Rush and didst guess what songs they would playeth. And it was good.

And lo, it came to pass, that they didst travel onwards to Sauchiehall Street and they didst enter a posh trendy inn. Here they didst drink more drink. And lo did Jason go searching for the bog and it was full well down in the bowels of the earth and took long to reach. And lo, they didst depart the inn and went forth up Sauchiehall Street. And they didst come to another trendy inn and lo they didst put over many shekels for all manner of drink but Wattie didst drink not of the strong drink but didst only drink of the coke and the others mocked him full well and he held his head in shame.

And it came to pass that a great hunger fell upon them and they were sore hungry. Let us go forth and eat many things they sayeth and it was so. They didst enter unto a Chinese place and didst eat mightily from the buffet and it was good. And the gourds of beer didst appear miracously upon they table and they didst drink full well.

And it came to pass that their stomachs been full they didst depart from the Chinese place and didst stagger back down Sauchiehall Street. And lo they didst start to slur their words as they had been smote by strong drink. And it was good.

And yea, they came even unto an inn close to the SECC, whence from where did come wondrous sounds of Rush songs on the jukebox and their hearts were lifted up and they were sore glad. And it was good. And it came to pass that they were smitten by more strong drink yet it was still good and lo they didst come to the SECC whereupon they were awed by awe and full well stood in amazement and awe. And it was good.

And lo, they didst enter in to the SECC and the throng of Rush fans was a thronging far and wide and queues did appear for drink and t-shirts, but they were sore afraid they would miss the start so they didst persuade Jason to wait until after the gig before buying a t-shirt.

And it came to pass that they did enter the arena and didst stumble to their seats, which were mighty and let them see to the four corners of the SECC and also the stage and it was good.

And then didst the darkness fall upon the face of the SECC and Rush didst appear in all their glory in mighty majesty and much lights and sound and fireworks and video screens and lasers and stuff and lo didst they play lots of good tunes (but not Cygnus X1) and it was good.

And yea, let me say unto ye all that Neil Peart dost play the drums full well and didst astound all those present with his tom-toms and snare drums and cymbals and gongs and other manner of bangy things which didst make full well much thunderous noises so much that they didst all think it was a raging storm of thunder lurking in the heavens above.

And lo, it was good.
