well heng, i was in the seaforth disco listening to Sheep spinning the decks and man this groove came on, i've never heard anything like it since the Macdonald Sisters sold out and started using microphones.

it was also the song that was playing when me and murdina took our first skinny dip together down the fank at sheshader. i dumped her when i dicovered she was just mutton dressed up as lamb.

so dj, please play thon song about the chemist/provost cove

that was not the guireans at fort william.
that was the guireans tribute band ' gordon macleod's goothans ' put together to make a quick buck by none other than ken ' monopoly tycoon ' livingstone.

if you looked closely you would have noticed that the guitarist was not ex-guirean roddy morrison but the actorrr rod morison playing the part of roddy morrison with stunning accuracy.

the real guireans played at the hen ( supper ) night.

True it is that the part of Roddy Morrison was played by the actorrr Rod Morison, but the role of the bass player was played by strolling thesp ALASDAIR Macrae, whom Morison is very jealous of because he is working.

Incidentally, it has come to light that the tribute band "Gordon Macleod's Goothans" have a twice nightly residency at the Murdina-a-Go-Go nitespot in South Lochs although legal action is pending over the use of the name "Gordon".
