Given the obvious parallels between the
Guireans and Deep Purple, I thought you
should know that ledgendary hammond organ
basher Jon Lord has announced his
retirement. I was chust having a think about
possible replacements when I remembered some
cove from Sy who used to play the piano who
might fit in. He was from a military
background if I recall, Major Duncan
Morrison, or something. I was chust
wondering if any of you coves knew where I
could get in touch with him?

Yes indeed, the late Duncan
Morison (note speleng),
otherwise known as the Major can be
contacted c/o. God, Heaven. The Major is
well known for being slightly camp, which
might affect his chances of filling Mr.
Lord's seat (ooh-er!), and given Purple's
obsession with motoring (Highway Star, Space
Truckin' etc), so would his extensive
knowledge of motor vehicles. Some years ago
my father bumped into the slightly affected
ivory-tinkler, who proudly told him he had
just taken possession of "a lovely new car!"
Surprised and interested, my father asked
him what kind of car it was. "Oh, Jacky,"
exclaimed the Major, "it's a lovely red
one." However, despite his current deceased
status, it is possible that the Major may
wish to exchange one Lord for another.

Huidh! Settle down again!
You've already had this discussion about
J**n Sc*b**. What do you think this is? The
Western Isles "outing" page?
Next thing you'll be openly discussing
S****y M*th****'s predilections for **** and
*** in an Amsterdam **** with ***.
Have you no discretion?
