The Dun Ringles would like to apologise to the Guireans and all members of the Plook Records Corporation for the inadvertant use of the name 'Chirsty Alone' in one of their songs on their forthcoming new CD. This oversite happened during a tense phase of the recording process when nothing else would ryhymmyhrhrmm. As a token of good will, the Dun Ringles would like to offer the Guireans the use of 'Diggun Da' as subject matter for a song on their next album.

We hope this unfortunate incident does not result in an expensive and long drawn out law suite.

Chust got my copy of the Dun Ringles' "Giraffic Pairc" and it's very very good! The Guireans recommend that you go to http://groups.msn.com/TheDunRingles and order your copy now if you haven't already. Where else can you get a slick overproduced progressive rock concept type CD full of songs about giant giraffes menacing the town hall clock, cattle grids keeping maws out of town, or train crashes in Glen Valtos?

The Guireans' legal department would, however, like to point out that all references on said recording to "singing about Ch*rsty Al*ne" are of course fictional. And while legal action was considered over references to the Guireans having "no regard for tone",  we decided not to bother*.

(* This was based on a legal evaluation of the likelihood of winning such a case, which was assessed as roughly equal to those of  J*e Elli*t beating J**n Sc*bi* to first prize in a Philomena Begley lookalike karaoke contest).
