JOBS BLOW FOR
PLOOK DISTRIBUTION STAFF AS AMIGSB SALES
ROCKET
From the SOUTH
LOCHS ECONOMICS DIGEST - SUNDAY 9
NOVEMBER
Duncan "Wayne Huisinis"
Kerr of Plook Records' production and
distribution plant reported today that
sales of the Guireans' most recent
release "Alasdair Mackay Is God
(Sorry-Bod)" have reached a
massive 20, following recent orders by a
Mr S Warner of Herion (is that some
other planet like? Dunky says he's on it
anyway), and a Mr F Macneil of Glasgow,
both of whom wish to remain anonymous.
Now that there's nobody
else left on the planet (or on thon
other planet Herion where S Warner
lives) that could possibly want a
copy, Kerr is concerned for job security
at his Edinburgh facility. "Plook CEO
Ken Livingstone has told me that unless
we get new orders there'll have to be
large scale redundancies" said portly
goth and sole employee Kerr (48),
pointing a stubby finger at his own
ample person.
If Kerr's operation is to
be saved then it may require an
inter-AGOFR joint venture to do it.
There are rumours that CJ Mitchell's
Tape Records corporation are struggling
to meet demand for the forthcoming
Midges of Rock
triple-CD set because they "can't be
a*sed", which may mean lucrative
subcontracts for the chubby Meantime
groupie.
