Guireans fans may like to know that
having mastered the complexities of
recordable DVD (up to a point), Guireans
manager / accountant / record company
owner and original guitarist, Ken
Livingstone (YM)CA is now offering
copies of his 'live by satellite'
appearance at the 2003 Midges of Rock
festival on DVD. This was shot at the
Playboy mansion in Los Angeles as an
introduction to the video of the band's
1981 performance of the Sheep Purple
classic, 'Fireball' from the world tour
of Sandwick. The video is also on the
DVD and features the Guireans original
'classic' line-up including Ken 'Ritchie
Blackmore' Livingstone himself.
