The world of AGOFR-ia was rocked to its peatbanks yesterday when a proposed collaboration between The Dun Ringles and the Guireans was nixed at the very last minute by CJ ' the govenor' Mitchell and Ken 'the other govenor' Livingstone, who couldn't agree terms (eg how to split the profits so that each one got 100%).

Spies out and about round the celebrity hot spots of Stornoway spotted Jason and Wattie in deep discussion with Dead Ollac jnr over a pint in the Cally. It is understood that Dead, a well know gaelic scholar and foremost authority on made up Norse saga's of dubious authenticity, has been contracted to provide Gaelic spoken bits to 'Oh Flick', (yet another viking obsessed Dun Ringles song), for the forthcoming Re-Dun album. Instead, at the last minute, Dead was ordered to 'go round Jimmy Petrie's' to see if he could be persuaded to do a couple of Guireans tracks.

During the meanwhilst, Jason and Wattie rattled off 'Oh Flick' and 'Bee Without a Bumble' over at Grimertas Studios.  Re-Dun now has 16 tracks almost ready for a possible late spring release. Rough mix downs are now been listened too and both Robin and Jon are busyt 'doing stuff' too.
