Newvalley Musical Express - Sunday 15 April :

Fans of seminal Detroit proto punks The St**ges have recently been delighted to see their heroes back together and on the road for the first time since their disastrous implosion in 1974. The band's sell-out live shows and new CD have allegedly been earning very large sums of cash.

However, Industry Sources have recently revealed that it's not really the St**ges that are touring at all. Oh no. It's all a crafty lookalike scam dreamt up by unscrupulous Guireans Manager and Plook CEO Coinneach "Gimmer Danger" Livingstone, aided and abbetted by pop crooner Roddy "I Wanna Be Your Molt" Huggan.

While perusing a recent issue of dad rock magazine "Mordo", Coinneach and Roddy could not help noticing their respective resemblances to porky St**ges guitar slinger R*n A*h*t*n and wizened frontman I**y P*p, and so decided to get out on the road and cash in quickly.
