It seems that ex-Subterranean, Memphis Louis Studebaker has been up to no good again.  Trying to outdo Jerry Lee Lewis, who famously ran off with a thirteen-year old girl, Studebaker was arrested in Germany for running away with a twelve-year old from Wigan that he met on an internet chatroom (a bit like this one, but presumably more mucky).  Described as an ex-marine (more like ex Harvest Marine fish gutter, actually), Studebaker is being deported to England to face abduction charges.  Looking at a possible five to ten stretch in the Gary Glitter wing of Pentonville, jailbreaks aside, this must make a Subterraneans reunion tour all the more unlikely.
