Weird stuff.
This stuff is weird. but thats not a bad thing. i kind of like this
stuff. but im not really into this type of rock. the mix was fine, and
u kind of sounded like the song, "bad to the bone" at the very
begining. the instruments are nice in the song. the vocals are a little
weird, and i dont know if i like them that much.

Alt Rock
Nice pace....weird vox.....I'll give ya Billy Idol....The mix is
rough...to muddy in the vox, and the drums are very metalic.....i'd
like to here the low end of the envelope boosted a bit...i feel i am
missing 1/4 to 1/3 of it. But it is a good track, and i think with some
proper mixing /prod work, it be really cool...keep hustlin'.

Creepy crawly
I dig the old rock vibe of this sound. Almost a touch of The Cramps
except with a more modern feel. I would probably turn up the vocals a
bit more. Make it punch out above the instrumentation. I really enjoy
the vibe you all have going. Maybe also try beefing up the snare just a
tad. Other than that quite the fun rock song.

Cant get into it
Mix- The mix is weak. Overall production is not very good, the only
thing I can hear consistently is the lead guitar part. The drums come
thru ok, but only the crash/ride/cymbals. The vocals are really quiet,
a lot of which I would attribute to the singer residing in the more
bass-ey notes.
Who you sound like... Billy Idol is the only thing that I can picture
on a similar note. Mostly, that is attributed to the vocals. I really
do not think that is a good direction to go for this group.
Overall- I really could not get into this song. It has no hook that
sticks with you, except for some aspects of the guitar. The riff is
generic, the vocals are shy sounding.
- gagevocals from Dallas, Texas on 27Feb2005
naw
not too good, too much going on in this song maybe turn down the guitar
and ease it down a bit, its ok though
u sould like guns and roses a little bit, and uhm damn what are they
called ohhhh queens of the stone age yeah
- theriverkillers from Gig Harbor, Washington on 27Feb2005
Hmmmmm
I would say you sound a little like Billy Idol. So far as the mix goes,
I would bring the snare up a little bit and take some of the effects
off of the vocals.
- Dramadrummer from Morris, Illinois on 27Feb2005
Terrible.
Definately good. Sounds like John Lennon with the guitar like that in
the intro. But that in gets into it, and to be honest, I lose the feel
of it when the vocalist pops in. Sorry guys.
Sounds like?: I don't know.
Mix doesn't sound good. Can't understand what the vocalist is saying. I
don't like the mix very much.
I will give you guys credit for sounding alright, musically. The vocals
are bad though.

The Cramps?
Mix - I thought it was okay, obviously depends on the sound you're
going for - if you ARE aiming for a Cramps style, then you're right on
track. Otherwise, the drums could use some attention, can't hear the
bass drum (could be the PC speakers though). A bit muddy, but like I
just said... Maybe bring the vocals out a bit more?
Also, I think the song lacked a decent hook, kind of followed a
familiar pattern.

Song
Neat Opening. I like the bass. The only thing that doesnt sound good is
the vocals they just dont sound like they fit the song.
- Mirage_The_Band from Roanoke, Virginia on 27Feb2005
A Change of Key
This song might be more in vocal range in a higher key. The low voice
is not strong enough to pull off the David Bowie strut. This reminds me
of the Cramps without the reverb. The mix is very lo fi, and the drum
machine sounds a tad underwhelming.
- mattkelly from Houston, Texas on 26Feb2005
Pretty Good
This song is pretty good, groovy...but I would probably like a version
that I couldunderstand the lyrics better, the mix sort of drowns them
out. Vocals sound a bit like Marylin Manson on happy pills...the music
in general: hard to pinpoint a correlating artist.
- guitarmaverick from Roanoke, Virginia on 26Feb2005
this sux
sorry for the headline.honesty is the best policy, the bottom line is
this sux.12 year olds can do this stuff, bar chords and half assed
vocals.
- rainwalker from Birmingham, Alabama on 26Feb2005
I do not like beach
rock...
so I will try to be nice about this.
Reminds me of the SplatCats from Buffalo.
Maybe Butthole surfers.
Mix is good for this type of song, all reverb. Vocals are too buried
however.
A piano chugging along would be a cool addition.
SYNOPSIS: Fun sounding track with a all around good upbeat melody.

Nice Original Sound
The mixture of instrumental arrangement and vocal styling paints
something familiarly original here. The contrast between the two
creates an interestingly addictive song where the subtle, low vocal
work clashes against the classic rock instrumental tone and note
selection. The key of the guitar solo at the end is very aurally
pleasing. This definitely warrants another listen.
- machinesjosh from Champaign, Illinois on 24Feb2005
needs some energy
or emotion to bring the son..
Vocals don't mesh with the lead guitar. No sense of energy from the
song. Lyrics are tough to hear. Bass parts later in the song were solid
and groovy.

Back to the Mixing
Board
First off, you need to master this track. Overall volume is incredibly
low. Is that an effect on the vocals, or did you record it in a
bathroom? I'm not crazy about the effect. Too much echo. Also, you need
to EQ the vocals. It's like all low end. Get the vocals crisper by
tweaking the high end in the EQ. Where's the kick drum? Is there one? I
don't hear it. If it's there, then it needs more punch. The vocal hook
for the chorus is cool, but I'm not into the lyrics so much. The snare
EQ is off. The bass guitar could use some more definition. Toms sound
flat. Song is decent, though a little old school. Sorry, but there's
nothing good to say about the mixing.

Classic meets
modern rock
It kind of sounds like every member of this band is playing in a
different decade. The drum beat was from the 50's, the guitar riff from
the 60's and the vocals were from the 80's. But it kind of worked. Now
that all of those styles are taken I guess we could try mixing them.
- mynameisvader from Irvine, California on 23Feb2005
hypnotic original
track
The guitar drum vocal combination is very hypnotic and with the right
video and production team you have something here. I mention production
because I feel it could benefit from a producer to get the minor hick
ups out and make the mix reallt outstanding.

Billy Idol
Impersonator
Maybe the singer would be more suited for country than rock. At times
the guitar was off time with the drums. The drum sound was weak
throughout the song. There was a point where the guitar had some really
good chunch to it then it was gone. Overall just weak. Maybe if all the
amps were set to 10 some heavy distortion the singer would be more
inclined to sing from way down deep and clean out those pipes.

good energy right
off the top
good vocal melody/ voice, nice to hear a different voice out there.
interesting chord changes, but there is something that doesn't totally
grab me, cool guitar solo/ bridge part though.

Speed Racer
Gotta love the old school guitar tone......Love it. This song makes me
want to get in my car & drive real fast. Ghoolie kinda vocal
tone - also cool. I like the overall dry mix; it works well with the
tune.

Vocals = less effect
Minus the vocals you remind me of Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - with
the vocals you remind me of Tomahawk (a Mike Patton project). The mix
sounded good, but I didn't like the constant effect on the vocals, it
took away from the song where that effect could have otherwise been
used to powerfully emphasize something.
- PlasticExplosiv from San Diego, California on 22Feb2005
upbeat.
cool upbeat retro feel to the song, vocals a little quiet in the
recording, good arrangement.
- riley47895 from Boise, Idaho on 22Feb2005
Old Shool rock!
good at athmosphere! it sounds like you guys rock live and you have
your shit togheter!
great tune and I love this felling it givs me, like listening to some
old Doors. The solo part is brilliant and really hits the spot!
you sound a bit like a dansish band called BabyWood Rose and thy rock!
the mix is okey but the vocal is to far away.
