"Honest, doll, ah um Paul McCartney, by ra way" : Steven (left) meets a fan (right) backstage at the Coll Centre, 1982

Played : Guitar 1981-82

Laid-back Glasgow Uibhisteach Beatles obsessive Steven left the Nicolson at the end of 5th year to go to college. That left the original Dark Visit line-up with no guitarist until later in the Summer of 1982  when Alasdair "Bod" Mackay stepped in.

After college, Steven subsequently enjoyed a long career with the Polis down in England, busting anybody who didn't express sufficient admiration for the Fab Four's collective and solo work. Whatever else the villains on Steven's manor got up to, you wouldn't find a single one daring to suggest that maybe one or two of the rhymes on "Imagine" were a bit slapdash, or that perhaps "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da" wasn't the greatest reggae song ever written.
