Kenny "The Reverend" Stewart

 Kenny "The Rev" Stewart, appearing on  "Ar n' aran Latheil" several years after his 1981 Coll Centre appearance on drums. Wonder if he's got "The Stranglers" written on the back of his jacket now?

Ex Meantime drummer and Stranglers enthusiast Kenny "The Rev" Stewart is now a minister in the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland. Prior to this, Kenny served for many years in the Free Church, ministering to congregations at Dowanvale in Glasgow, Scalpay, Toronto and Stornoway.

We have no reason to suspect that the experience of guesting on drums for the Dark Visit in December 1981 was in any way contributory to Kenny's decision to enter the ministry, nor to his decision to leave the Free Church when they started allowing musical instruments into worship.

Note that this Kenny Stewart is not to be confused with Gaelic media tycoon and "Subterraneans Show" rescuer Kenny "Fraochie" Stewart from Back, who is someone else entirely.
