  Re Dun Cryptic Artwork!!!

Boke Your Drarsh, (1993 Tape Records)

Newly boosted to a four piece with the arrival of Jon with a clutch of great new songs, the band recorded this second album in March/April 1993, once again in Knock Studios. The MR300 was becoming more familiar to the band now and they were able to improve the hiss between songs to a more professional level. Jason was commissioned to paint a cover for the tape, which he did with great aplomb. Featuring a peatstack with a pair of sunglasses, the cover went on to win many prizes including Best Cover by A Lead Guitarist in an AGOFR band.

Salmon So Bright (Quench My Appetite) A tribute to the  porpoise of the sea, the mighty humped back salmon

Peaky Another rock number featuring a Robin keyboard solo reminiscent of Jon Lord. And its all about Robin too. Do you think he’s looking a triffle peaky?

Peter Dan (The Rubber Man) A tale of young love in the Castle Grounds, featuring a really bad attempt by all four members to sing in harmony

Whisky From a Jam Jar Jason’s autobiographical tale of a night on the piss in Edinburgh

Don’t Kill Whales Robins dance number with an environmental twist

Moonlight Part I to IV Jason goes all prog rock at great length. Very great length. He had to get it out of his sytem.

The Grey Tower Looms From The Mist A true story of a sesh down the Braigh one Saturday night. Possibly the only song ever to mention Tawse?

Hail Hall A tribute to the Scout Hall. Scene of many’s a drunken night.

A Ponderous Architectural Quality Blackhouses weren’t all that bad and forced emigration had its advantages.

Cromwell Street Congregation Jons moving piece to the joys of hanging around the narrows after closing time

Ode To A Banker Jason gets irate with his bank charges

Read Your Map An attempt at writing an epic. Now it seems everyone uses the opening chord progression.
