Beyond The Clisham (Tape Records 1997)

Recorded at the Valtos Outdoor Centre in April 1997. A week of recording songs, walking, drinking, watching sunsets and midnight strolls. And no kids to distract proceedings.  And Jon had bought a Tascam 8 track thing which was epic. The band couldn’t work it properly though. Still, another tape of fine songs was rattled off with great dexterity. Once more Jason painted a cover, this time depicting the band as sheep on leads in the hand of a buxom warrior maid with a bobban hat.

Heroes All about the First World War. The second part of a trilogy but the first track on side one just to confuse everyone

All Quiet On The Newton Front The first part of the trilogy, coming second in the running order.

Waiting For The Boats The only bit of the trilogy to appear in the right order. This ones about the Iolaire
